The prints on this website are taken from original ink based paintings that represent life and agriculture around Chico, a town in the Sacramento Valley of Northern California. The valley reminds many of a broad prairie with vast agricultural lands, wetlands, rivers, and pastures. The town itself has many arts and crafts style homes. Julia Morgan designed houses here and there is a strong cadre of restoration minded residents. While many artists have captured the essence and charm of the area by depicting geographic icons, I have emphasized the natural and agricultural processes and the seasonal rhythms of life found in this beautiful place.
